Assemble

  1. Unbox and check parts Leg tubes 5, connector 1, casters 5, cover 1, gas cylinder 1, seat 1, armrests 2, seat plate 1, backrest 1, headrest 1.
  2. Sort screws by length Sort into three rows: short E screws, medium M screws, and long K screws. Each type includes one spare.
  3. Position the connector Set the connector securely upside down, five sockets outward and screw mounting underside up.
  4. Insert the first leg Keep the caster hole up. Align the thick leg end with the sleeve from outside and push fully in horizontally.
  5. Insert the other four Keep the caster holes of the other four legs up too. Push each fully in from outside the connector until the roots sit snugly.
  6. Insert the screws for the first three legs For each of the first three legs, insert 2 E screws with 2 small washers down through the upward-facing underside. Give them just a few turns.
  7. Insert the screws for the rear two legs For each of the rear two legs, insert 2 E screws with 2 small washers down through the upward-facing underside. Give them just a few turns.
  8. Tighten the first three Tighten the 6 screws in the first three legs clockwise one by one with the included hex key, leaving no gaps at the roots.
  9. Tighten the last two Tighten the other 4 screws the same way. Check that all five legs sit snugly against the connector without looseness.
  10. Line up the caster with the hole Keep the base upside down. Align the first caster stem vertically with the upward-facing hole at the leg end.
  11. Press in the first one Press the caster housing down along the stem axis until fully inserted and close to the leg.
  12. Press in the other four Align and press each of the other 4 casters fully in. The caster housings should sit close to the legs and the wheels should turn freely.
  13. Flip the base back over Grip the legs and lift the entire base. Turn right side up and lower slowly onto all five casters.
  14. Slide on the trim cover With its center hole up, slide the trim cover down over the connector until seated.
  15. Insert the gas cylinder Face the thick gas cylinder end down. Align vertically with the connector center hole and insert until seated on the taper.
  16. Set the seat upside down Lift and turn the seat over onto a padded work surface, mesh down. Leave room behind and on both sides for the backrest and armrests.
  17. Position the left armrest Hold the left armrest upside down. Move its bracket level in from outside the work surface, seat against the left seat plate, and align all three holes.
  18. Insert the left armrest screws Fit 1 small washer on each of the 3 M6×20 screws. Insert through the upward-facing bracket holes and give them a few turns for now.
  19. Tighten the left armrest Tighten the 3 screws clockwise one by one with the hex key until the bracket sits flat and the armrest is secure.
  20. Position the right armrest Hold the right armrest upside down and move it level in from outside the work surface. Seat it against the right seat plate and align all three holes.
  21. Insert the right armrest screws Use 3 M6×20 screws and 3 small washers on the right too. Insert vertically through the bracket and give them just a few turns.
  22. Tighten the right armrest Tighten the 3 right-side screws clockwise one by one. Check that both brackets sit flat and secure.
  23. Position the seat plate Hold the seat plate upside down with the lever toward the seated user's front right. Move above the seat and align its four holes with the plate holes.
  24. Lay the seat plate flat Lower the seat plate vertically along all four screw holes. Rest its mounting plate flat against the seat bottom without trapping the armrest brackets.
  25. Insert the seat plate screws Fit 1 small washer on each of the 4 M6×20 screws. Insert through the four corners of the seat plate and give them a few turns by hand.
  26. Tighten the seat plate diagonally Tighten the 4 screws clockwise diagonally with the hex key until the seat plate sits against the seat.
  27. Position the backrest Place the backrest upside down in the open area behind the work surface, with its plate above the mounting face. Lift, then bring toward the seat.
  28. Position the back panel Move the backrest plate from behind to above the seat rear. Align the three holes and lower vertically against the mounting face.
  29. Insert the backrest screws Fit 1 large washer on each of the 3 long K screws. Insert through the upward-facing holes in the backrest. Give all three just a few turns for now.
  30. Tighten the backrest screws Tighten the 3 long screws clockwise one by one until the backrest plate sits flat. Steady the backrest and check the connection is secure.
  31. Turn the upper seat assembly right side up With two people supporting the seat and backrest, lift clear of the work surface, then turn upright in the air. Keep the armrests and backrest secured.
  32. Fit onto the gas cylinder Lift the entire assembly above the gas cylinder. Align the seat plate center hole with the cylinder top and lower vertically until seated on the taper.
  33. Line up the headrest with the socket Face the headrest mesh forward. Lift its flat stem above the backrest's top socket and align with the socket direction.
  34. Insert the headrest Push the headrest down along the slot until its stem is securely in the socket, then adjust to support the back of your neck.

Adjust and use

  1. Lift the lever to set height Reach under the right of the seat and lift the lever to release the gas lift. With no weight on it, the seat rises by itself.
  2. Sit to lower the seat To lower it, sit down and lift the lever. Your weight pushes the seat down. Let go when your thighs are parallel to the floor.
  3. Unlock recline with the lever Pull the same lever outward to unlock the backrest. Steady your body and lean back within the three recline settings.
  4. Push back to lock the angle Push the lever inward at the 110°, 116°, or 126° setting. Lean gently to check it is locked. It cannot lock between settings.
  5. Turn the knob to set tension Viewed from underneath the knob below the seat front, turn clockwise for more recline tension and counterclockwise for less. Turn a little at a time, then test the recline.
  6. Slide the lumbar support up or down Hold both sides of the lumbar support and slide it up or down until it sits in the deepest curve of your lower back.
  7. Turn the knob to set depth Turn the round knob behind the lumbar support to move it forward or back, until it supports your lower back comfortably.
  8. Hold the button to set height Hold the button on the outside of the armrest and lift or press the pad. Let go to lock. Your shoulders should relax when your elbows rest on it.
  9. Slide the armrest forward or backward The pad slides forward and back. Move it until it supports your forearm.
  10. Swivel the armrest left or right The pad also swivels left and right. Turn it inward a little for typing so your arms stay closer to the desk.
  11. Set the headrest height Slide the headrest up or down until it supports the back of your neck. Move along the stem direction; do not force it out of the socket.
