Anchor to the wall

  1. Check the wall first Confirm the wall material matches the anchoring hardware. Different walls may require different anchors. Then use the midpoint of the cabinet back for the strap location.
  2. Align the cabinet-end strap hole At the midpoint of the top panel's rear edge, hold the cabinet end of strap K against the back. Route the other end over the top toward the wall. Leave working room behind the cabinet.
  3. Align the cabinet-end washer hole Place 1 L washer outside the cabinet end of strap K. Align the washer hole, strap hole, and attachment point on the rear edge of the top panel.
  4. Tighten cabinet-end screw D Insert 1 D screw through washer L and strap K. Use a manual Phillips screwdriver to turn it clockwise into the rear edge of the top panel until the strap end sits snugly.
  5. Move the cabinet in front of the wall With two people, move the cabinet toward the wall, letting the strap move with its cabinet end. Leave room behind the cabinet for the strap bend and wall-end work.
  6. Mark the wall-end hole Pull the strap's free end straight against the wall, aligned with the rear top panel centerline, and mark the hole. Do not leave the strap slack.
  7. Drill the matching 0.24 in (6 mm) wall holes Only on a wall confirmed suitable for the supplied M anchors, drill 0.24 in (6 mm) diameter holes at the marks. Use the depth required by the actual anchors and remove the dust.
  8. Press in wall anchor M Push anchor M along the wall hole axis until flush with the wall. It must not be loose or protrude.
  9. Wall-end strap and washer Place the free end of strap K at the wall hole, then place 1 more L washer outside the strap. Align all three holes.
  10. Tighten wall-end screw D Insert 1 more D screw through washer L and strap K into anchor M. Tighten manually until the strap end sits against the wall. Use 2 D screws and 2 L washers total across both ends.
