Assemble

  1. Check the frame parts A: 1 set containing 2 end frames; B, C, D, and E: 2 pieces each; F: 1 piece; G: 2 rods; H: 8 rods.
  2. Sort the three bolt types 12 M, 2 L, 4 S, 2 washers, and one hex key.
  3. Position both end frames Place both end frames legs down, facing each other with numbers inward. Leave room between them to insert the side rails.
  4. Position B at the head Support side rail B with its brackets inward. Align flat end 1 with the matching numbered inside face of the end frame.
  5. Seat against end face 1 Move along the side rail toward the head end frame until flat end 1 sits against the matching numbered inside face. Align the upper and lower holes.
  6. Insert the M bolts Insert two M bolts from outside the head end frame along the bed into the side rail, one in each upper and lower hole. Give them a few turns by hand.
  7. Tighten the end frame joints Tighten both M bolts alternately top and bottom with the included hex key until the end face sits snugly without wobbling.
  8. Position B at the foot Support side rail B with its brackets inward. Align flat end 1 with the matching numbered inside face of the end frame.
  9. Seat against end face 1 Move along the side rail toward the foot end frame until flat end 1 sits against the matching numbered inside face. Align the upper and lower holes.
  10. Insert the M bolts Insert two M bolts from outside the foot end frame along the bed into the side rail, one in each upper and lower hole. Give them a few turns by hand.
  11. Tighten the end frame joints Tighten both M bolts alternately top and bottom with the included hex key until the end face sits snugly without wobbling.
  12. Position C at the head Support side rail C with its brackets inward. Align flat end 2 with the matching numbered inside face of the end frame.
  13. Seat against end face 2 Move along the side rail toward the head end frame until flat end 2 sits against the matching numbered inside face. Align the upper and lower holes.
  14. Insert the M bolts Insert two M bolts from outside the head end frame along the bed into the side rail, one in each upper and lower hole. Give them a few turns by hand.
  15. Tighten the end frame joints Tighten both M bolts alternately top and bottom with the included hex key until the end face sits snugly without wobbling.
  16. Position C at the foot Support side rail C with its brackets inward. Align flat end 2 with the matching numbered inside face of the end frame.
  17. Seat against end face 2 Move along the side rail toward the foot end frame until flat end 2 sits against the matching numbered inside face. Align the upper and lower holes.
  18. Insert the M bolts Insert two M bolts from outside the foot end frame along the bed into the side rail, one in each upper and lower hole. Give them a few turns by hand.
  19. Tighten the end frame joints Tighten both M bolts alternately top and bottom with the included hex key until the end face sits snugly without wobbling.
  20. Position both side center legs Stand the two D legs in the middle of the side rails. Face U-shaped supports 3 along the bed and align the brackets with both side rails.
  21. Join connectors 3 With two people, bring the frame halves together along the bed so the insertion end of C passes through the U-shaped support on D into the opening in B. Align all four holes.
  22. Insert M at the left center leg Insert two M bolts from the bed-facing side of the left D support, one in each front and rear hole. Hand-tighten.
  23. Tighten the left center leg From inside the bed, tighten both M bolts one by one with the wrench until the B/C/D joints sit snugly.
  24. Insert M at the right center leg Likewise, insert two M bolts from the bed-facing side of the right D support, one in each front and rear hole. Hand-tighten.
  25. Tighten the right center leg From inside the bed, tighten both M bolts one by one with the wrench, keeping the two side rail tops flush.
  26. Position the center support leg Stand F securely legs down beside the bed frame. Align support 4 lengthwise with the bed, with both top holes up.
  27. Rest the center beam on the support Rest end 4 of E on support F, with both E sections facing each other in the center. Align the top holes with the support holes.
  28. Rest the center beam on the support Rest end 4 of E on support F, with both E sections facing each other in the center. Align the top holes with the support holes.
  29. Place washers over the top holes Place one washer over the top hole of each E section, aligning the washer holes with the screw holes.
  30. Insert L bolts from above Pass each L bolt through a washer and vertically down through the top hole of E into support F, one per section.
  31. Tighten the center connector Tighten both L bolts from above one by one with the hex key. Keep the washers flat until neither E section wobbles.
  32. Move the center beam assembly in With two people supporting both ends of E, lift the E/F assembly over the side rails into the bed center, with end plates 5 facing the end frames.
  33. End plate against the end frame Lower the E/F assembly vertically with F's feet on the ground. Seat the integral end plates 5 of both E sections inside A and align upper and lower holes.
  34. Insert S bolts at the head From inside the bed toward the head, insert two S bolts through the upper and lower E end plate holes into the matching numbered holes in A.
  35. Tighten the head end plate Tighten both S bolts alternately top and bottom with the hex key until the E end plate sits snugly against the inside of A.
  36. Insert S bolts at the foot From inside the bed toward the foot, insert two S bolts through the upper and lower E end plate holes into the matching numbered holes in A.
  37. Tighten the foot end plate Tighten both S bolts alternately top and bottom with the hex key until the E end plate sits snugly against the inside of A.
  38. Place cross brace G Face G's end pins toward the mounts. Lift over the outer frame, then lower vertically to both U-slot bottoms with the center resting on E.
  39. Place cross brace G Face G's end pins toward the mounts. Lift over the outer frame, then lower vertically to both U-slot bottoms with the center resting on E.
  40. Place slat 1 Hold H horizontally. Lift above its supports, then lower vertically until both ends seat and the center rests on E.
  41. Place slat 2 Hold H horizontally. Lift above its supports, then lower vertically until both ends seat and the center rests on E.
  42. Place slat 3 Hold H horizontally. Lift above its supports, then lower vertically until both ends seat and the center rests on E.
  43. Place slat 4 Hold H horizontally. Lift above its supports, then lower vertically until both ends seat and the center rests on E.
  44. Place slat 5 Hold H horizontally. Lift above its supports, then lower vertically until both ends seat and the center rests on E.
  45. Place slat 6 Hold H horizontally. Lift above its supports, then lower vertically until both ends seat and the center rests on E.
  46. Place slat 7 Hold H horizontally. Lift above its supports, then lower vertically until both ends seat and the center rests on E.
  47. Place slat 8 Hold H horizontally. Lift above its supports, then lower vertically until both ends seat and the center rests on E.
  48. Remove the adhesive protective film Pinch one end of the protective film on G, peel slowly upward, and remove the entire strip, leaving the nonslip adhesive underneath intact.
  49. Remove the adhesive protective film Pinch one end of the protective film on G, peel slowly upward, and remove the entire strip, leaving the nonslip adhesive underneath intact.

Troubleshoot noises

  1. Remove the eight slats Remove the mattress first. Lift the eight H slats vertically off their supports, over the outer frame, and set beside the bed.
  2. Check the cross braces are seated Grip both ends of G, lift off the mounts, then lower vertically back. Check the end pins reach both slot bottoms and the center rests on E.

  4. Check each bolt Fit the hex key into each bolt and retighten clockwise until the mating faces are snug and the joints do not wobble.
